Pearls have a different temperament from metal. They are luminous because they are organic, and that also means they respond to moisture, fragrance, cosmetics and storage conditions.
Last on, first off
Put pearl jewelry on after fragrance, hair products and skincare have settled. Remove it before showering, swimming, sleeping or training.
Clean with restraint
After wearing, wipe pearls gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic machines and harsh chemicals.
Store separately
Pearls can be marked by harder stones and metal edges. Store them in a soft pouch or lined compartment, away from direct sunlight and high heat.
